2013 Taste of Forsyth
The City of Cumming and Superior Plumbing are bringing the “Taste of Forsyth” and Easter Egg Hunt back to the Cumming Fairgrounds March 30, 2013, to satisfy even the most sophisticated palates. Patrons will be able to sample all local Cumming restaurants have to offer from 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM on the beautiful Cumming Fairgrounds.
Admission is FREE and samples may be purchased from 1 dollar up to 4 dollars. More than 25 restaurants including Castleberry Ale House, Mia Italiano Ristorante, The Melting Pot, Bruster’s Real Ice Cream, Foster House, Rio Balsas and more to tempt your taste buds and fill your senses.
The Egg Hunt is for children ages 10 and under in age specific hunts at 11:30 a.m.,(ages three and under) 12:30 p.m., (ages four to seven) and at 1:30 p.m., (ages eight to 10). More than 25,000 eggs will be spread across the lawn for children to hurry and gather as many as they can. Make sure to get there early, the eggs don’t last long!
Also for the kids will be the Touch-A-Truck featuring exciting vehicles and equipment from police, National Guard, SWAT, and more including a crane, dump truck, fire trucks and a monster truck!
There will also be an enormous Kids Zone with interactive inflatables, climbing rock wall, inflatable slides and a track less train!
The anticipated crowd of more than 15,000 patrons, weather permitting, will also be delighted by the fresh acoustic sounds of Scott Thompson of Peachtree Station and the talents of Peter Hart and his magical puppet shows to delight kids young and old.
