Christmas at Vickery Village in Cumming GA
The Wonder Project is hosting the first annual Christmas in the Village on December 14, 2013 from 5pm to 7pm at Vickery Village on Post Road in Cumming.
The Wonder Project’s vision was to create an event the entire community could come and enjoy some holiday cheer with neighbors and friends. The event will be kicked off with a performance by the Vickery Creek Elementary School’s Fifth Grade Choir. There will also be a Christmas market, gingerbread workshop, eggnog and cocoa by the fire, amazing performances from some local talent brough to us by Performer’s Warehouse, a visit from Santa and much more holiday fun for all ages. The culmination of the event will be the lighting of the tree and a performance from a special guest.
The event will also be helping our community by donating 10 trees with ornaments and 100% of funds made from Christmas Craft will go towards holiday meals for those in need. There will also be a toy drive and guests are asked to bring a new unwrapped toy.
Guests of the event will not only be surrounded by merriment and holiday cheer but will be able to visit the stores for last minute shopping. The restaurants will also be enticing people to stay after the event with delicious dinner specials.
