Favorite Places to Eat in Cumming {Teenager Edition}
The following post is from Christina LaPlaca, a high school student at Forsyth Central. Her list is in no particular order.
We all have those days when we’re hungry and don’t know where to go or what we’re in the mood for; or maybe it’s your kids whose stomachs are growling. Whatever the case may be, sometimes, we just need a list of options. Well, if you’re like me and are always hungry (and not always for the healthy foods, either), then you and your family might just appreciate this article more than most…
Cheeseburger Bobby’s
A classic, juicy burger on your mind? Then stop by Cheeseburger Bobby’s off of exit 14! Here, they have the most delicate burgers, crisp fries, and even soft and creamy custard to top it all off. This restaurant is one of my family’s favorite burger places; we’d eat here every day if we could! Come see what it’s all about!

Mr. Swiss
Sometimes when you’re running late in the mornings, breakfast just skips your mind. One way to quickly curb your appetite is to stop by Mr. Swiss and grab a biscuit; if your child goes to Forsyth Central High School, Otwell Middle School, or Cumming Elementary, then this restaurant is even within five minutes of your stop. They have many delicious options, and even have a place to sit down and enjoy your meal if you have the time.

Sal’s Place
Right in the middle of the Cumming square, this quaint pizza shop, locally owned, is the jewel of the city: Sal’s Pizza Place. Here, you can get anything from subs, to pizza, to other Italian food, all at a fair price. It the best place to be after the Friday Night Lights at the high schools, and an even better place to take your family for a simple, light-hearted lunch.

Osaka
This tasty, inexpensive delicacy is a great place if you and your family are looking for a nicer lunch, and can even be accommodated for fancier events. Osaka, a Japanese restaurant located on Buford highway, has been known to host both teenagers after prom, and families after church on Sunday. They can make arrangements to sing for birthdays, and will make any event a hit with their delicious hibachi grill.

Los Rios
Is there anything better than cheese dip and tacos? I think not! I suggest you get over to Los Rios right away. Don’t let the location fool you. This place is the gem of all Mexican restaurants. The food is great. The service is fast. And the price is just right! If you are going for dinner then you can expect a wait on the weekends! As a bonus, Los Rios was rated the best Mexican in Cumming GA on the Best of Forsyth.
