Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss – 2013 Things to do in Forsyth County
It’s time to celebrate the 2013 birthday of Dr. Seuss! And the Forsyth County Public Library system is celebrating with a week long of Happy Birthday Events.

Special Wee Read Storytime (Recommended for 2-5 years, with a caregiver):
Enjoy a 25-minute program featuring Seussical stories, songs, movement activities, a puppet show AND a visit from the Cat in the Hat. Suggested for ages 2 to 5 years, with a caregiver. No registration is necessary for these free programs.

Special Family Program (Recommended for ages 4 years and older):
Celebrate Dr. Seuss’s birthday with a family program, especially for ages 4 years and older, featuring Green Eggs and Ham and Dr. Seuss readalikes. Add lively songs, a puppet show, and a visit from the Cat in the Hat for 45 minutes of fun that will leave you smiling all day long. There’s no need to register for these free programs.

Special Dr. Seuss Event at Glazed & Fired
On Tuesday March 5th, join our friends at Glazed & Fired for a special Mommy & Me. They’ll be celebrating Dr. Seuss’ Birthday with a story time, featuring the Foot Book, & creating footprint tiles or plates. Cost ranges from $10 to $15 depending on the piece you choose. Mommy & me begins at 10 am, and is designed form Moms/caregivers and children 5 and under.
