‘Tis the season for all things holiday-related! Halcyon Forsyth is having tons of great holiday-inspired events this year. Because there are so many events at Halcyon, I had to round them all up in one article.
Halcyon’s Winter Wonderland Décor
Halcyon Forsyth is decorated with flocked trees creating an incredible Winter Wonderland and a beautiful backdrop for holiday photos. They’ve also had an artist create a new mural depicting a snow-covered Greenway and even a Santa bicycling along the path. You are welcome to come to Halcyon Forsyth and take holiday photos with your families including your dogs. Bring your own cameras or phones and take photos with the décor. As a bonus, there is also a vintage camper photo booth on-site for several days as well. You can go inside and take photos and get instantaneous printed photo strips!

Holiday Celebration and Santa Arrival
December 7th from 3:00pm – 7:00pm
Here’s a list of all you can do during this date and time:
- Take photos in Halycon Forsyth’s vintage holiday-themed photo camper
- DJ and live musical performances by local musicians
- Dance performance by the Sawnee Ballet Theatre
- Frozen performances by Stipe Studio
- Free children’s crafts with Pine and Pigment
- Face painting
- Special offers in our shops
- Watch the SEC championship game at the following Halycon Forsyth locations: Cherry Street Brewpub, Butcher & Brew – including TVs outside adjacent to all the activities, CMX Stone Sports Bar
At 4:00pm, there will be a parade around Halcyon marking the arrival of Santa. It will be led by Denmark High School’s Coach Crowder, Denny the Dane, football players, cheerleaders, volunteers and dogs from Furkids Animal Rescue and Shelters and other VIP guests.
After Santa arrives at 4 pm, he will be available for visits and photos! Don’t forget to bring your camera!
Ladies Night Out – Making Spirits Bright
December 12th from 6:00pm – 9:00pm
$10 ticket benefits Jesse’s House (you can purchase tickets right HERE)
Things to do during the Ladies Night Out Event:

- Create a wooden sign with Pine and Pigment (pre-registration and discounted $10 fee for this activity; limited to 1st 50 sign-ups; regular price is $29). To sign up for this activity, please register ‘. You will also need to register for our Ladies Night Out separately.
- 100% of your $10 ticket fee will be donated to Jesse’s House, Inc. Jesse’s House is an emergency shelter for at-risk girls, ages 7-17.growing needs. The shelter provides a safe haven and excellent care for these young ladies during a difficult period in their lives.
Holiday Open House with Live Christmas Music

Santa Paws benefitting Fur Kids
December 15th from 1:00pm – 4:00pm
Bring your whole family (including your dogs!) to Halcyon Forsyth for Santa Paws – a special event benefiting Furkids Animal Rescue and Shelters. Your $20 donation covers a professional sitting fee and a hi-res download of your photo. Your donation also includes a free puppicino at Cherry Street Brewpub at Halcyon, a Halcyon dog gift and a dog treat from Lizard Thicket Boutique.
In addition, your donation includes unlimited visits to our Vintage Photo Camper booth where you can take fun photos and print out photo strips on the spot! Popbar Alpharetta will also have $2 pupPacks available for purchase and will make a donation when you mention Furkids Animal Rescue and Shelters
Holiday Pop-up Shop for your Pets: Fur Kids will set up a 1-day holiday shop for all your pet gifts. 100% of sales go directly to Fur Kids!
And Gu’s Dumplings will donate a portion of 12/15 sales to Fur Kids, so enjoy delicious dumplings for a good cause!
Last but not least, be sure to stay and dine on one of the dog-friendly patios including Cherry Street Brewpub, Ocean & Acre, and Butcher & Brew or do some holiday shopping in one of our dog-friendly retailers!

Ugly Christmas Sweater Bar Crawl benefitting The Giving Kitchen
December 18th from 6:00pm – 9:00pm
You’re invited to our inaugural Halcyon Ugly Christmas Sweater Bar Crawl!
Sign in to get your Santa swag and pick up your menu for the evening. Visit each of the bars and restaurants to purchase special Christmas cocktails and seasonal beers and enjoy special offers exclusively for bar crawlers.
The Grinch will be joining us this evening for photo opportunities and assorted shenanigans. He will also be selecting the winners of our Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest. The 3 winners will each receive a $50 gift card from one of our restaurants.

Come enjoy treats with Santa at It’s a Sweet Life Bakery (1-2pm), Kilwins (2-3pm) and Popbar (3-4pm). Bring your camera to take photos with Santa. Christmas treats will be available for purchase at each location.
Chanukah at Halcyon
December 22nd at 5:30pm
The community is invited to join us on the first night of Chanukah to light our Halcyon Menorah. We’ll enjoy latkes, donuts, hot cocoa and coffee, kids entertainment and more!
