Keep Forsyth County Beautiful
Take Part in the Great American Cleanup April 20
Keep Forsyth County Beautiful organizes local cleanup effort
Keep Forsyth County Beautiful encourages everyone to organize a group of volunteers or come as an individual to help remove litter from the roadways in our community as part of the Keep America Beautiful Great American Cleanup on Saturday, April 20.
Volunteers will meet in the large pavilion at Fowler Park at 9 a.m. to begin Forsyth County’s Great American Cleanup. Following a brief rally, volunteers will depart to clean up roadways in the community for two hours before returning to the large pavilion at Fowler Park for food and fun.
“This annual cleanup event, held in conjunction with the nationwide Great American Cleanup, is a fantastic opportunity for citizens, community organizations, businesses or clubs to really make a positive impact on our community,” Environmental Program Manager Tammy Wright said. “It is always great to see the community come together for events such as this, to help make our county the best it can be.”
